Time:  9 am to 12 pm at the Ontario Badminton Academy (7400 Woodbine Avenue, Unit 4,  Markham, Ontario, L3R 1A5)

World class coaches will be working with BWF World Junior Badminton Championship athletes during the player clinic. Outside coaches may observe this clinic. At the conclusion there will be an opportunity for observing coaches to ask the coaches delivering the clinic questions.

Best Suited for coaches, teachers, schools staff volunteers who may have limited basic badminton experience. They will be working with children and youth in an educational setting with a range of badminton skills.

Sunday, November 18, 2018

Time:  9:00am to 4:00pm

Fee:  $200.00

Best suited for coaches who will be working with youth players with varying levels of playing experience and will introduce players to competitive badminton.  In addition to this workshop coaches will need to take the following modules to be fully trained: Planning a Practice, Teaching and Learning and Make Ethical Decisions.  These additional workshops  are offered by the Coaching Association of Ontario.

Sunday, November 18, 2018

Time:  9:00am to 4:00pm

Fee:  $200.00

Best suited for coaches working with youth players at the provincial level.  Pre-requisite for this program is Regional Coach. Coaches will also need to take Design a Sport Program and Basic Mental Skills to be fully trained. These additional workshops are offered by the  Coaching Association of Ontario.

Best suited for coaches who will be working with players who are playing competitive badminton, many of whom may be competing at the National level.  Many other multi-sport modules are also required at this level.
